My name is Juan Sebastián Gonzalez Sabogal, I am a passionate art educator and visual artist

with an emphasis on graphics and audiovisual expressions. Interested in animation, graphic design, technology, and photography.

 

I have over 4 years of experience as a Visual Arts Teacher with children under 8 years old, teaching them art through inquiry, encouraging them to be curious, explore more about the world and think about themselves and others, communicating their own experiences and thoughts, developing creativity, imagination, critical thinking and aesthetic sense. I am sure that the creative process of making an artwork is a reflective action, that allows the students to question their ideas, to connect them with their world, to make choices based on their experiences and take the risk to see the effect of them. I strongly believe that art education in an interdisciplinary and open-minded environment is the perfect scenery to develop all the skills needed in a global context.
